The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) conducted the Gujarat Common Entrance Test ( GUJCET 2025 ) on Sunday, March 23, in three shifts. Physics and chemistry exam was held in the morning shift from 10 am to 12 noon, biology from 1 pm to 2 pm, mathematics from 3 pm to 4 pm.
A total of 1,26,281 students out of 1,29,965 registered candidates sat for the physics (054), and chemistry (052) subjects. Of the total 83,037 candidates registered for biology (056), 78,482 took the exam, and 48,029 out of 49,684 candidates appeared in the mathematics subject.
As per the GUJCET 2025 exam paper analysis , students rated the question paper moderate to tough in difficulty level.
GUJCET awareness seminar from March 29
The GUJCET counselling 2025 date was announced by the committee a day before the exam. Along with the schedule, the committee has notified 101 cyber space centres for GUJCET counselling online registration.
Aspiring candidates not having internet facilities will be able to get themselves registered for the counselling by visiting the cyber space centers designated by the admission committee without paying any charges. The ACPC will also organise a free awareness seminar for the aspiring candidates and parents from March 29 to May 18 in all districts of Gujarat.

GUJCET counselling 2025 registration link will be hosted on the official website, acpc.gujarat.gov.in, at 2 pm today. The last date to register is May 20, up to 5 pm. Candidates will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 350 while applying on the ACPC portal.
Students applying for BE, BTech admissions should note that the merit list will be prepared by giving 50% weightage for theory exam in PCM subjects and 50% weightage for percentile obtained in GUJCET 2025.
