Himmat Singh, chairman of the HSSSC, took to his X account and informed that unverified news regarding the cancellation and normalisation of the CET 2025 exam is being circulated on social media platforms.

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has warned several Youtube and other social media users of strict action for spreading of fake news regarding the Haryana Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2025.
Himmat Singh, chairman of the HSSSC, took to his X account and informed that unverified news regarding the cancellation and normalisation of the CET 2025 exam is being circulated on social media platoforms.
He also urged online users to share only verified news to avoid any confusion about the details of the entrance test. The commission will take strict action against users who will spread unverified and baseless news, he added.
“Unverified news regarding the cancellation and normalization of the CET exam is being circulated on social media and YouTube. All such users are requested to share only verified news and not to spread any unverified or baseless news, otherwise, the commission will take strict action against such users,” Singh wrote on his X handle.

On Thursday, the commission published the Haryana CET 2025 provisional answer key. Candidates who appeared for the competitive exam were able to raise objections against the answer key till August 1.
The Haryana CET 2025 exam has held on July 26 and 27 in two shifts. The morning shift was conducted from 10 am to 11:45 am, whereas the afternoon shift took place from 3:15 pm to 5 pm.
As per the subject experts, the difficulty level for the Haryana CET 2025 exam was moderate for most of the subjects, and easy to moderate for Mathematics and Hindi.
The exam was conducted in an offline, pen and paper-mode.
