Haryana HTET exam 2026 was scheduled to be held on January 17 and 18.

The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) has postponed the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2026 exam dates. According to the Indian Express report, the HTET exam will now be held in January last week. Earlier, the HTET exam 2026 was scheduled to be held on January 17 and 18.
However, there is not yet any official announcement by the board on exam postponement.
According to Haryana Board Chairman Pawan Kumar, the examination was deferred because the schedule was still under finalisation, and the dates announced earlier were only provisional.

HTET is an eligibility exam held for candidates aspiring to teach at primary, trained graduate teacher (TGT), and postgraduate teacher (PGT) levels in government schools across Haryana. HTET is conducted at three levels: Level 1 for covering Classes 1 to 5, Level 2 for TGT covering Classes 6 to 8, and Level 3 for PGT for Classes 9 to 12.
Recently, BSEH clarified that the Aadhaar card is not mandatory for applying to HTET 2026. For more information, candidates can visit the official website, bseh.org.in.
