Himachal Pradesh NEET PG merit list 2024 revised by NBEMS for MD, MS admissions; here’s why

The round 1 allotment results of the Himachal NEET PG counselling 2024 will not be modified, however, the revised merit list will be used for allocation of seats in the subsequent rounds.
NEW DELHI: Atal Medical and Research University, Himachal Pradesh has notified the revised the HP NEET PG merit list 2024 for the subsequent counselling rounds. The HP NEET PG 2024 merit list has been tweaked due to the “revision of incentives allocated to Dr Rajkumar by Director Health Service, Shimla from 10.071 to 2.948”.
The revised merit list for Himachal Pradesh NEET PG counselling 2024 for MD and MS admission has been provided by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), New Delhi, the university said. The allotment results of round 1 Himachal NEET PG counselling 2024 will not be modified, however, this merit list will be used for allocation of seats in the subsequent rounds of HP NEET PG counselling.
The HP NEET PG merit list 2024 contains the details of 1,186 candidates and the percentage of incentives received, state specific percentile, and state rank.
"Subsequent to the revision of incentives allocated to Dr. Rajkumar by Director Health Service, Shimla vide letter No. HFW-(1)B(3)/MD/MS/PG (incentive)/2024- dated 23.11.2024 from 10.071 to 2.948, a revised merit list for PG Degree (MD/MS) counseling 2024 of Himachal Pradesh has been provided by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS)," the latest notification read.
Applicants will be able to check the revised HP NEET PG merit list 2024 through the official admission portal, amruhp.ac.in.
Meanwhile, the Rajasthan High Court hearing a petition filed by around 45 doctors alleging discrepancies in the provisional state merit list issued on November 22, has given a week‘s time for the respondents to review the process and submit their findings. Citing a similar case in Madhya Pradesh, where the court found comparable errors in NEET PG admissions, the high court said that the errors may not be limited to Rajasthan.

HP NEET PG round 2 counselling 2024
The first round of the HP NEET PG counselling 2024 concluded today, with candidates joining at the allotted college. The revised merit list will be used from HP NEET PG second round counselling onwards. Here’s the complete schedule.
