Himachal Pradesh SET 2023 result out; 1,315 candidates qualified

NEW DELHI: The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has declared the result for the Himachal Pradesh State Eligibility Test (HP SET) exam 2023. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check and download the HP SET 2023 result through the official website, hppsc.hp.gov.in.
The commission has announced the HP SET 2023 result in a PDF format, listing the subject-wise roll numbers of qualified candidates. According to the official PDF, a total of 1,315 candidates have qualified the exam. This includes 117 candidates from chemical sciences, 234 from life sciences, 118 from commerce, and 44 from mathematical sciences.
Candidates who qualify the HP SET 2023 exam can download the marksheet through the official website. The HP SET mark sheet 2023 will include details such as each candidate's name, roll number, papers appeared in, marks obtained, qualifying status, category and minimum qualifying marks by category.

HP SET 2023 Exam: Qualifying marks
Candidates can check the category-wise minimum qualifying marks required to qualify the HP SET 2023 exam given below.

Candidates in the general category must secure at least 40% aggregate marks across both paper 1 and paper 2.

Candidates from reserved categories including scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), other backward classes (OBC) and persons with disabilities (PwD) must obtain a minimum of 35% aggregate marks across both papers.
The HP SET 2023 exam was conducted on April 28 for a total of 24 subjects. The HP SET exam is conducted to select candidates for assistant professor positions in universities and colleges within the state of Himachal Pradesh.
