HP NEET UG 2025: 952 MBBS, BDS seats allotted in round 1; final seat allotment list on August 6

Himachal Pradesh NEET UG 2025: Candidates applying for government medical colleges will have to pay Rs 10,000 as token fee and while those opting for private colleges will have to pay Rs 50,000.

A total of 952 candidates have been allotted MBBS and BDS seats in the first round of the Himachal Pradesh NEET UG counselling 2025, according to the state merit list published by Atal Medical and Research University. The HP NEET UG final seat allotment list 2025 will be published on August 6 on the official website, amruhp.ac.in.

Candidates were allowed to raise objections against the state merit list till 11 am on August 5. The online centralised HP NEET counselling is conducted for 85% state quota, including reserved seats of children of J-K migrants, children of Tibetan refugees, NRI, and EWS in government and private medical and dental colleges.

Candidates allotted seats in the first round of Himachal NEET UG counselling 2025 are required to login to their account on amruhp.ac.in to download the provisional seat allotment letter. They are required to report to the principal of the allotted medical college.

Document verification and reporting should be completed between August 8 to August 9. The number of vacant seats after round 1 counselling will be displayed on August 14. Candidates applying for round 2 of HP NEET UG counselling will have to fill choices between August 15 to 18.

HP NEET UG counselling 2025: Required documents

Selected candidates will have to carry the following documents to the allotted college.

  • A printout of the confirmation copy of their online application form
  • A printout of the allotment letter
  • All original documents
  • Self-attested photocopies of all required documents.

Candidates intending to apply for round 2 or subsequent rounds of counselling should pay a token amount. Those who have already been admitted during the first round in government medical and dental colleges or private colleges are exempted from paying the token fee for the second round.

The NRI quota seats remaining vacant will be converted to unreserved seats and filled on the basis of overall merit of the state in round 3 counselling.
