IGNOU extends deadline to submit applications for BEd, BSc Nursing, PGDRPC entrance exams to March 10

IGNOU Admissions 2026: The university will conduct the entrance tests for admission to BEd and BSc Nursing (Post Basic) and PGDRPC courses on March 29.
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for online applications for admission to BEd and BSc Nursing (Post Basic) and PG Diploma in Rural and Plantation Management (PGDRPC) programmes to March 10 up to 6 pm. Interested candidates can apply for the entrance test through IGNOU’s official website at ignou.ac.in.
The university will conduct the entrance tests for admission to BEd and BSc Nursing (Post Basic) and PGDRPC courses on March 29, 2026.
Moreover, IGNOU will close the admission portal for its undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the January 2026 session via Open and Distance Learning (ODL) modes tomorrow. Eligible candidates can apply at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

The UG courses at IGNOU includes Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Science (BSc), and Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), along with honours and specialised streams.
Meanwhile, the open university is offering multiple PG courses, including MBA, Master of Arts (MA) in various specialisations, Master of Computer Applications (MCA), and Master of Commerce (MCom).
It also offers various diploma and advanced certificate courses for candidates seeking skill enhancement and career advancement.
