IGNOU extends registration deadline for 2025 admission to July 31

IGNOU Admission 2025: The registration to various programmes can be done for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online modes.
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date to register for its various courses through online mode to July 31, 2025. Eligible candidates can now register for admission to academic programmes for the July 2025 session through the official website at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.
The registration to IGNOU 2025 programmes can be done through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online modes.
Notably, candidates can also apply for the range of academic programmes through the online mode for the July 2025 session at iop.ignouonline.ac.in.

IGNOU Admission 2025: How to register
Candidates can follow the steps given below to register for the IGNOU admission 2025.
- Go to the official website at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
- On the homepage, click on the new registration tab.
- A new window will open.
- Fill the required details on the registration form.
- Click on the register tab.
- Choose programmes and study material mode.
- Upload requisite documents for admission.
- Pay the application fee through debit, credit, ATM, UPI or net banking.
- Click on the submit icon.
- Download and take print out of the submitted application form for future reference.
IGNOU 2025 Admissions: Eligibility criteria for diploma course
Candidates applying for the diploma courses at IGNOU for July 2025 session should check the eligibility criteria from the table given below.

Diploma Programme in Nutrition and Health Education (DNHEOL) | Candidates must complete Class 12 from IGNOU and the students should be above 18 years to be eligible |
Diploma in Urdu Language (DULOL) | Candidates must complete Class 12 from IGNOU with Urdu as one of the subject to be eligible |
Diploma in Tourism Studies (DTSOL) | Candidates must complete Class 12 from IGNOU to be eligible |
Diploma in Creative Writing in English (DCEOL) | Candidates must complete Class 12 from IGNOU to be eligible, and the students above 20 years and without Class 12 are also eligible |
Post Graduate Diploma in Sustainability Science (PGDSSOL) | Students must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in any discipline from a recognised university |
Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Media (PGDIDMOL) | Students must have a Bachelor’s degree from any discipline |
Post Graduate Diploma in Distance Education (PGDDEOL) | Students must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university |
Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development (PGDRDOL) | Graduate from any subject |
Post Graduate Diploma in Gandhi and Peace Studies (PGDGPSOL) | Any graduate is eligible |
Post Graduate Diploma in Development Communication (PGDDCOL) | Students must have a Bachelor’s degree from any discipline |
Post Graduate Diploma in Environment and Occupational Health (PGDEOHOL) | Graduate from any discipline and should have build a career in Environmental and Occupational Health |
