IGNOU extends registration deadline for fresh ODL, online courses till October 15
IGNOU July Admission 2024: Interested candidates can apply for IGNOU online, ODL registration through the official website, onlinerr.ignou.ac.in.
NEW DELHI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has again extended the registration deadline for July 2024 fresh admission for online and ODL courses till October 15. Interested candidates who have not yet applied can complete IGNOU online, ODL registration through the official website, onlinerr.ignou.ac.in. Earlier, the last date for IGNOU July admission 2024 was September 30.
The university has provided extension in registration process for all programmes offered in ODL, Online mode for July 2024 session except for semester based & certificate programmes.

IGNOU July Admissions 2024: Documents required
Candidates must have the required documents scanned from the original certificates.
Scanned photograph (less than 100kb)
Scanned signature (less than 100kb)
Scanned copy of relevant educational qualification (less than 200kb)
Scanned copy of experience certificate (if any) (less than 200kb)
Scanned copy of category certificate, if SC, ST, or OBC (less than 200kb).
IGNOU July admissions 2024: Eligibility criteria
For the IGNOU July 2024 Admissions (Online and ODL modes), the eligibility criteria is given below-
Undergraduate Programs (UG)
- BA, B.Com, B.Sc.: 10+2 or equivalent.
- BCA: 10+2 with Mathematics or equivalent.
- BBA: 10+2 or equivalent.
- B.Ed.: Graduation with 50% and teaching experience (as per NCTE norms).
Postgraduate Programs (PG)
- MA (Various subjects): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- M.Sc. (Specializations): Bachelor’s in a relevant science field.
- MCA: Bachelor’s with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level.
- MBA: Graduation with 50% (General) or 45% (Reserved), and OPENMAT exam.
Diploma/Certificate Programs
- Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECE): 10+2 or equivalent.
