IGNOU to hold mega campus placement drive on July 27, 28 with 350+ vacancies

IGNOU Placement Drive 2026: The two-day drive will offer jobs in banking, insurance, aviation, AI, marketing and other sectors for students and alumni.
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will organise a mega campus placement drive for its students and alumni on July 27 and 28, 2026, offering more than 350 job vacancies across multiple sectors. The placement drive will be held at the Dr B R Ambedkar Convention Centre, IGNOU Headquarters, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi, from 10 am onwards.
The Campus Placement Cell of IGNOU has invited applications from IGNOU learners, alumni, fresh graduates and final-semester students. The participating companies are offering roles in banking, financial services, insurance, aviation, supply chain, customer support, artificial intelligence (AI), marketing, data analytics and UI/UX design.
Interested candidates will have to register online by filling out the Google Form provided by the IGNOU campus placement cell.

IGNOU Placement Drive 2026: Recruiters
Among the participating recruiters, Axis Bank will fill 200 vacancies for the post of Office Sales (OS-1) with a salary package of Rs 2.3 lakh per annum, along with incentives of up to Rs 60,000. The post is open to graduates and final-semester students aged 21 to 28 years.
Bajaj Life Insurance is offering 25 or more vacancies for the posts of insurance relationship manager and senior financial service manager with annual salaries ranging from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 3.5 lakh, in addition to incentives. Bajaj Capital Insurance Broking has announced 20 or more vacancies for telesales and branch sales positions with a monthly salary of Rs 25,000.
The placement drive will also feature opportunities in the aviation and hospitality sectors. Birds Flight India Pvt Ltd will recruit 50 or more customer service agents and customer service hosts with an annual package of Rs 3.6 lakh. The CII-IGNOU Services and Hospitality initiative is offering 50 to 80 vacancies for customer support, sales support and voice process roles with monthly salaries ranging from Rs 20,000 to Rs 35,000.
Other participating organisations include AAJ Supply Chain Management, which is offering five vacancies for facility management executives with salaries between Rs 3.5 lakh and Rs 4 lakh per annum. Proof-of-Skill has openings in UI/UX design, business development, marketing, copywriting, customer success, data analytics and human resources with a salary package of up to Rs 12 lakh per annum, depending on the role and required skills.
Documents required for IGNOU Placement Drive 2026
Candidates participating in the placement drive are advised to carry the following:
- Updated CV (at least two copies)
- Government-issued ID or IGNOU ID card
- Passport-size photographs
- Educational certificates
- Experience certificate (if applicable)
According to the placement brochure, graduates from BA, BEd, BSc, BCom, BBA, MCom, diploma and postgraduate diploma programmes, along with pass-outs, freshers and final-semester students, are eligible to participate.
Skills required to participate in the drive are communication, teamwork, adaptability, creativity, time management and digital literacy, besides role-specific requirements mentioned in the job descriptions.
