IIHMR University inaugurates fourth batch of executive MPH, MHA programmes

IIHMR University saw the enrolment of 50 and 17 professionals from eMPH and eMHA programmes respectively.
NEW DELHI: International Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR) University hosted the inaugural programme for the fourth cohort of its Master of Public Health (MPH) and Master of Hospital Administration (MHA) (Executive) 2024–26 programmes. The programmes saw participation from professionals with diverse backgrounds, contributing to the field of healthcare management.
As per the institute, 50 professionals from the Executive Master of Public Health and 17 professionals from the Executive Master of Hospital Administration, joined the programme. Out of these 25 female and 25 male candidates were from the eMPH batch and 9 female and 8 male students were from the eMHA batch.
The eMPH cohort included 23 candidates from government organisations, followed by 22 candidates from private hospitals, consultancies, etc. and 5 participants from NGOs. The eMHA cohort included 12 participants from private hospitals and consultancies and 5 from government organisations.

According to the official press release, the average work experience for the eMPH programme was 10 years, and for the eMHA programme, it was 9 years. The average age of the eMPH was 38 years, and for the eMHA was 37 years.
Addressing the gathering, the president of IIHMR University, PR Sodani, said: “The Master of Public Health (Executive) and Master of Hospital Administration (Executive) programs are tailored to meet the evolving demands of the healthcare sector, enabling professionals to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the new cohorts and encourage them to embrace this journey of growth.”
