IIIT Bangalore launches scholarly book series to boost research in engineering, AI, ML, data science

IIIT Bangalore, through its IIIT B- De Gruyter Brill Series platform aims to support researchers and scholars to share their work with global audience.
The International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore (IIIT Bangalore) has collaborated with De Gruyter Brill, a global academic publisher to launch a new scholarly book series. The IIITB - De Gruyter Brill Series has been launched to boost research at the intersection of computer science, engineering, and the digital transformation of society.
Through the new book series, the information technology institute will publish high-quality research monographs, advanced textbooks, and edited volumes across various range of courses, IIIT B said in an official press release.
The series will publish high-end research papers in computer science, artificial intelligence , machine learning and data science, electronics and communication engineering, embedded systems, software engineering, applied sciences , digital public infrastructure (DPI), and the emerging field of digital humanities and societal systems.

IIITB-De Gruyter Brill to bridge theory with real-world tech
Explaining the objective of the newly-lauched series, Debabrata Das, Director, IIIT Bangalore, said: “At a time when knowledge moves faster than ever, our collaboration with De Gruyter Brill serves as a platform for credible, high-quality research. Through this series, we aim to support both traditional scholarship and emerging digital formats, enabling researchers to share impactful work with a global audience.”
The IT institute also said that the series has been launched to promote "rigorous, peer-reviewed scholarship" to bridge theory with real-world technological and societal impact. "Guided by IIIT Bangalore’s academic leadership and thematic expertise, the series will also welcome submissions from researchers and scholars worldwide," it added.
As part of the collaboration, the IITB - De Gruyter Brill Series aims to become a leading platform for scholarship addressing both the technical and societal aspects of digital innovation.
