Admission to BTech courses will be offered through various channels such as JEE Mains 2025 score, special channel (SPEC mode), UG entrance exam, direct admission, olympiad.

The institute announced that it will conduct the entrance examination for BTech programmes on April 19. Registration for the IIIT Hyderabad UGEE 2025 will remain open till March 23. The NTA has declared the JEE Main session 1 results 2025 and is scheduled to conduct the session 2 exams from April 1.
IIIT Hyderabad is the first institute which was established under the not-for-profit public private partnership (N-PPP) in 1998. BTech admissions to this college is done through various modes, but not through the JoSAA counselling 2025.

IIIT Hyderabad cut-off for JEE Main 2025
The institute will fill a total of 100 seats through the JEE Main cut-off percentile for its BTech Computer Science Engineering and BTech Electronics and Communication Engineering. Of the total, 75% of the seats will be assigned to the common pool and the remaining 25% for the diversity pool. However, IIIT-H will announce results for the diversity poll first and only after these seats are exhausted, will a woman candidate be considered in the common pool.
