IIM Ahmedabad cluster 2 summer placements held for PGP students; Mahindra top recruiter

The IIM Ahmedabad cluster 3 placements will be conducted on November 6, 2023. 60 job roles were offered in cluster 2 for PGP students.
NEW DELHI : Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) conducted the cluster 2 summer placements for the postgraduate management programme (PGP) students on November 3. The IIM-A conducted the summer placements in hybrid mode this year.
Recruiters offered around 60 job roles in the cluster 2 placement drive of which, Mahindra, belonging to the conglomerate cohort, was the top recruiter with 11 offers followed by Adani Group.
Cluster 2 recruiting firms were divided into seven cohorts - advertising and media, consumer electronics, consumer goods and durables, consumer services, conglomerates, retail B2B and B2C, and pharma and health care.

Regular recruiters such as Aditya Birla Group, Bajaj Group, CK Birla Group, JSW Group, Piramal, Reliance Industries Limited, and Tata Administrative Services also participated in the conglomerate cohort.
Alkem Laboratories was the top recruiter in the pharma and health care cohort. Other recruiters that took part from the pharma and health care cohort are Dr Reddy's Laboratories, Glenmark Pharma, and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited. In the Retail B2B & B2C cohort, Amazon was the top recruiter.
In the consumer goods and durables cohort, HUL was the top recruiter. Other recruiters included AB InBev, Loreal, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, Asian Paints, Coca-Cola, Dabur, HUL, ITC, Mondelez, Nestle, P&G, and Wipro Consumer Care and new recruiters like Diageo.
IIM Ahmedabad earlier announced that the summer placement drive will be held in three clusters. Cluster 1 was conducted on November 1 and cluster 3 is scheduled to be held on November 6.
