The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) have announced the exam date for the national-level Common Admission Test (CAT 2025). This year, the CAT registration fee 2025 has been increased for all categories. The official CAT notification 2025 is expected to be published on the official website, iimcat.ac.in, soon. CAT 2025 is a gateway for admission to flagship MBA programmes and other postgraduate and doctoral programmes offered at IIMs. The scores obtained in the entrance exam are also used by other universities, B-schools, and MBA colleges for admission.

As per the schedule, the CAT exam date 2025 is November 30. The computer-based test (CBT) will be conducted in three shifts in exam centres across 170 cities.

Candidates will be given an option to select any five test cities in order of their preference. “The list of cities may be subject to changes based on the discretion of the CAT authorities,” it said.

Applicants are required to pay the CAT registration fee only once, irrespective of the number of institutes they are applying for. The CAT 2025 application fee is non-refundable.

“Candidates must declare and maintain a valid and unique email account and a mobile phone number throughout the selection process,” it added.

As per the reservation criteria, 15% of the seats are reserved for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for OBC, and up to 10% for EWS candidates. An additional 5% is reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD).
