Download EbookThe Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) Indore has released the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 notification on the official website of CAT at iimcat.ac.in. As per the notice, the CAT 2026 registration will begin from August 3, 2026 at 10 am and will close the window on September 15 at 5 pm.

The entrance examination is conducted for admission to management programmes at IIMs and several other participating institutions. Applicants are informed that each IIM has their own admission policy and may consider factors such as academic performance, work experience and other parameters along with CAT scores.
The registration fee of CAT 2026 depends on the category of the applicant. Candidates who belong to SC, ST and PwBD category have to pay Rs 1,350 and all other candidates have to pay Rs 2,700. Applicants are informed that the registration fee is non-refundable.

CAT 2026 Registration: Steps to register
To submit the application form for the CAT 2026, follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of CAT at iimcat.ac.in
- Finish the registration process by entering the required information
- Fill out the CAT application form, upload the necessary documents, select five preferred test cities
- Make the payment and then submit
- Download the confirmation page and take a printout for future reference
Applicants who belong to SC, ST and PwBD categories should upload the relevant certificates. During the registration process, aspirants need to select any five test cities, as per their preference.

Once the registration process is over, candidates will be given one among the five preferred cities, subject to availability. If a candidate did not get their preferred cities, then they will be allotted a nearby city.
