IIM Jammu, National Central University Taiwan collaborate for academic, research exchange

IIM Jammu and Taiwan university also planned to organize joint online meetings amongst the faculty and students at both universities.
NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu collaborates with National Central University, Taiwan to enhance educational opportunities and research collaborations. The agreement signing ceremony took place on Friday in virtual mode.
The collaboration is aimed to foster academic and research cooperation across diverse domains ranging from student exchange, faculty exchange, exchange of academic information and materials organizing joint research programs, organizing joint conferences and more, the official statement said.
The institutes also planned to organize joint online meetings amongst the faculty and students at both universities.
Signing the agreement, director of IIM Jammu said: "This MoU with National Central University, Taiwan, represents a significant step towards strengthening our global network of academic partnerships. It opens exciting opportunities for our students and faculty exchange, to engage in international research and educational experience. We at IIM Jammu envision international standards of certification and quality in the various programmes offered through the collaboration.”
He said that this will be followed by joint collaboration with National Central University Taiwan in the areas of academic and research exchange.
On the occasion, Jin-Huei Yeh, Dean of National Central University Taiwan said: "We are delighted to partner with IIM Jammu, an institution known for its commitment to excellence in management education. This collaboration signifies a promising beginning of our joint journey towards advancing knowledge and fostering global academic connections.”
Jabir Ali, dean academics, IIM Jammu; Wei Hsien Li, associate professor, NCU Taiwan; Sarbjit Singh, chairperson of international relations; Anuja Akhouri, chairperson corporate communications; Rambalak Yadav, chairperson, research; and Niti Shekhar, assistant professor, IIM Jammu were also present during the virtual agreement signing ceremony.
