IIM Raipur partners with University of Wolverhampton to strengthen educational collaboration and research
The agreement aims to strengthen global exchange opportunities, enhance student exchange programmes and promote research.

NEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Management Raipur (IIM Raipur) and the University of Wolverhampton signed a strategically formulated agreement today, October 4. The agreement is designed to strengthen academic cooperation, promote research initiatives, and enhance student and faculty exchange programs between both institutions, the official IIM Raipur statement said.
The agreement was signed by professor Ram Kumar Kakani, director at the IIM Raipur, and professor Ebrahim Adia, vice-chancellor of the University of Wolverhampton.
The partnership will represent a major milestone in advancing excellence in higher education. Both institutions pledge to exchange expertise, resources, and research capabilities, enhancing the academic journey for their students and faculty alike, the IIM Raipur statement adds.

As per the IIM Raipur and the University of Wolverhampton agreement aims to focus on several key areas including – joint research projects, dual degree programs, faculty development programs, student exchange initiatives, and the development of innovative educational programs.
The agreement also aims to promote organizing joint seminars, workshops, and conferences to encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration, the IIM Raipur statement added.
The agreement is expected to enhance the global visibility and outreach of both institutions, paving the way for future collaborations in various academic and research fields, the IIM Raipur note adds.
Speaking on the occasion, professor Ram Kumar Kakani highlighted the importance of international collaboration in today’s educational landscape. He further adds: “This MoU will not only strengthen the academic ties between IIM Raipur and the University of Wolverhampton but also open new avenues for knowledge exchange, research collaboration, and cross-cultural learning experiences for our students and faculty. We aim to create opportunities for students and researchers that will have a lasting impact on both our communities”.
