Download EBookIndian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) has released the seat allotment result for round 3 of the admission counselling process. Candidates can check their seat allocation by logging in to the candidate portal on iiseradmission.in.
Candidates who have been allotted a seat during IISER admission counselling should submit the Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) by August 12, 2025. Those who have been allotted a seat other than their highest preference can choose to ‘float’ the allocation and wait for the subsequent allotment round. If their seat is not upgraded in the next round, the current seat will be retained.
The IISER SAF will be paid according to the candidate’s category as mentioned in the offer letter. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) or Scheduled Tribes (ST) have to submit Rs 17,500, while students from all other categories have to pay Rs 35,000. The SAF will be adjusted against the tuition fees for the first semester.

Candidates who do not complete the fee payment within the given time will face cancellation and will not be allowed to participate in further rounds of counselling.
IISER counselling 2025
IISER counselling round 3 result is for admission to the five-year Integrated Bachelor of Science - Master of Science (BS-MS), four-year BS Economics, and four-year Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programmes. Students can take admission at any of the following campuses of IISER: Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tirupati.
Those who wish to withdraw from the allocated seat during IISER counselling 2025 can do so till August 12, without any cancellation fee. If a candidate withdraws after the round-wise withdrawal period is over, a cancellation fee of Rs 10,000 will be deducted, and the rest of the SAF will be refunded online.
