Download NowThe Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has launched a certificate programme in ideation, innovation, intellectual property and commercialisation. Eligible candidates can apply for the 5-day certificate course at ceppay.iitd.ac.in.

The application window to apply for IIT Delhi -backed ITP certificate programme is open until July 10.
According to the official notification, the 30-hour programme will be conducted over 10 sessions of three hours each for 5 days.
“India’s innovation ecosystem is rapidly evolving under national initiatives such as Startup India, Atal Innovation Mission, and Department of Science and Technology. Despite increased research output, translation of academic research into commercially viable technologies remains limited,” the engineering institute said in the notice.
Curriculum, fee for IIT Delhi's 30-hour offline certificate course
As per the eligibility criteria, diploma holders, BTech, MTech, PhD, aspiring PhD students, working executives, industry professionals, entrepreneurs and innovators in technology domain are eligible to apply for the certificate programme .
The offline-based certificate course will be conducted at the department of management studies at IIT Delhi from July 13 to 17. The course fee is Rs 65,000 plus 18% GST.
The curriculum of the course includes topics such as Intellectual Property (IP) strategy, patent processes, prior art search and claim analysis, prototyping pathways, regulatory compliance, technology transfer and commercialization models, business models for deep tech, funding and investor readiness.
Candidates who will complete the 5-day certificate programme will learn to evaluate research outcomes for commercialization potential, conduct structured prior art searches using global patent databases, develop a product roadmap and commercialization strategy, and prepare a grant/investor-ready pitch deck.
All candidates will receive a certificate of attendance on successful completion of the programme.
