Download NowNEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) and Systra Group, global engineering and consulting firm specializing in public transport and mobility solutions, have collaborated to advance various research initiatives that support and promote sustainable development goals.

The official press release stated that the collaboration between IIT Delhi and Systra highlights their commitment to advancing technology, fostering industry growth, and promoting sustainability.

Leadership of research Initiatives
As per the official press release, the research initiatives under this partnership will be led by IIT Delhi faculty members, including Arpan Chattopadhyay from the electrical engineering department, Krishna Sirohi from Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology and Management, and GV Ramana from the civil engineering department.

Under this partnership, scientists from IIT Delhi and the Systra Group will collaborate to explore technological advancements in areas including Intelligent SCADA for rail traction power optimization, EV first or last mile connectivity, and seismic analysis and design of underground structures.
