IIT Gandhinagar to host 11th Academic Advisory Council, Leadership Conclave on January 8, 9

Twenty academics from top institutes such as University of California, University of Miami, IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi will participate in event.
NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT-GN) will host the 11th Academic Advisory Council (AAC) and 12th Leadership Conclave on January 8 and 9, respectively. The annual event brings together the academic, industry experts and faculty members of the institute to discuss strategic action plans for the growth and expansion of IIT-GN.
The 11th Academic Advisory Council will help build up effective strategies for faculty evaluation and growth, promotion of student well-being, holistic development of staff, new academic programmes, and fostering industry-academia partnerships at the Institute, IIT Gandhinagar said.
Twenty academics from top institutes such as University of California, USA; University of Miami, USA; ISCTE University Institute of Lisbon, Portugal; University of South Florida, USA; Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand; IIMA; IIT Kanpur; IIT Bombay; IIT Delhi will participate in the event. In addition, 30 members of IITGN’s leadership will also join.
On January 9, the institute will organise 12th Leadership Conclave. About 40 most eminent thinkers, industry stalwarts, academicians, venture capitalists, and startup mentors from Bankworld Inc, USA; KAAJ ventures, USA; University of South Florida, USA; ISCTE University Institute of Lisbon, Portugal; IIT Kanpur; IIT Bombay; Nasscom Center of Excellence; NAMTECH among others will participate.
Twenty members of the IIT Gandhinagar will also take part to share ideas on creating leadership for academia, revenue growth for the long-term sustainability of the Institute, continuous engagement with the government, mission-oriented fundraising for infrastructure, and fostering industry-academia partnerships,” it informed.
