Download NowThe Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will commence the registration for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2026 today, September 5. Eligible candidates will be able to fill in JAM 2026 registration form by visiting the official website, at jam2026.iitb.ac.in. The last date to apply for the exam is October 12.

Aspirants will have to first register on the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS) 2026, by providing their name, a valid email address, an active mobile number, and setting a password. Using the generated enrollment ID and OTP upon registration, they will be able to fill the JAM 2026 form.
In order to apply, students are required to pay an application fee for each paper. Female applicants and those belonging to Schedule Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories will have to deposit Rs 1,000 for one paper and Rs 1,350 for two papers. All others will have to make fee payment of Rs 2,000 for single paper and Rs 2,700 for two papers.

Candidates who enter incorrect category, gender, exam city, or date of birth during JAM 2026 registration will be allowed to modify the details with an additional fee of Rs 300. Students can add an additional test paper or change the selected one in the submitted application form with an extra fee of Rs 300 by November 10.

JAM 2026 will be conducted on February 15 in two sessions as a Computer Based Test (CBT) in seven test papers including Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology(GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH).
