IIT Kanpur Placements 2022: 918 offers on day-5; Over 70 international offers recorded so far

IIT Kanpur records total of 918 offers as of December 5, 2022 in its first phase of placements. The highest domestic salary remains Rs 1.9 crore.
NEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT-K) has recorded 918 offers on day five of the first phase of placements 2022. The highest domestic salary remains Rs 1.9 crore. A total of 74 students received international offers with 33 being above Rs 1 crore.
At the end of day five, IITK has received a total of 770 job offers from 181 national and international companies. Including the 207 pre-placement offers (PPOs) secured by students, that have seen a 33% increase since placement session 2021-22, IIT Kanpur has received a total of 918 job offers from campus placements.

The Institute also sees a sum of 74 international offers this year, as compared to to 47 international offers received during the last year. The top recruiters at IIT Kanpur Placements 2022 include Rakuten, Intel, Capital One, Google, Barclays, Citi Bank, Wells Fargo, Airbus, SLB, Texas Instruments, WorldQuant, Qualcomm, EXL, HSBC, Jio Platforms, Axis Bank, SAP Labs, Rakuten Mobile, Enphase, Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company, McKinsey and Company, Square Point Capital, among others.
In recent news, IIT Kharagpur placements 2022 has recorded a total of 1,300 offers as of December 5, 2022. The institute's highest offer stands at Rs 2.6 crore with 45 international offers. IIT Kharagpur received a total of 760 offers including pre-placement offers (PPOs) in campus placements 2022-23.
