IIT Kharagpur Placements 2024–25: 1,800 offers made on day 3, nine bag Rs 1 crore salary packages

Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur) has recorded more than 1,800 job offers, including 409 Pre-Placement (PPOs) and 25 international packages from top global recruiters during its 2024-25 placement season, according to an official statement.

Notably, nine students have also received job offers with annual packages exceeding Rs 1 crore. The highest package offered so far is Rs 2.14 crore per annum, the institute said.

Over 400 companies and 1800 plus offers

According to the institute, more than 800 job offers were made within the first two days of the placement drive, with the number crossing 1,000 by the end of Day 3.

More than 400 companies from sectors including software, analytics, finance, banking, consulting, and core engineering took part in the recruitment process.
