IIT Madras, CII launch online supply chain management course

IIT Madras: Students can apply for the course through the official website, code.iitm.ac.in, before the last date March 31, 2025.
NEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras’s Centre for Outreach and Digital Education (CODE) has partnered with the CII Institute of Logistics to relaunch the supply chain management professional (SCMPro) certificate programme. Students can apply for the online programme on the official website, code.iitm.ac.in, before the last date March 31, 2025.
The programme will start on April 1, 2025. The programme curriculum is designed to offer students skills and insights into supply chain management and further enable them to excel in this competitive industry.
Students will have to pass the online exam consisting of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) given three hours to complete the exam. Students will have to score a minimum of 70% marks to pass the exam.
“The SCM Pro certification programme has already trained over 40,000 professionals in the past decade. The CII Institute of Logistics is now set to elevate this program by integrating top-tier academic expertise into the curriculum,” the IIT Madras statement said.
The programme is designed for working professionals from manufacturing, IT, e-commerce, retail, FMCG, or logistics companies, and students from any engineering, commerce, science, or business management colleges.

SCMPro online certificate course
The five modules of the curriculum will include 30 hours of video content delivered by IIT Madras faculty. A joint certificate from CII and CODE, IIT Madras will be awarded upon completion. Other details are as follows:
- E-study materials and transcripts to download
- Access to moderated discussion forums for clarifying queries
- Remote-proctored online examinations on Sundays
Additionally, students will have access to course materials for one year. IIT Madras will also invite students to visit their campus and allow them to interact with the faculty members.
