IIT Madras BS students showcased their innovative projects and talent at the CODE HR summit 2024.

New Delhi: The Centre for Outreach and Digital Education (CODE) at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras recently hosted the inaugural ‘CODE HR Summit 2024’, featuring 21 Human Resources (HR) leaders and keynote sessions on generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in human resources and the metaverse. The theme of the CODE HR summit, empowering the future workforce, underscored the importance of skill-based training and continuous learning.
The event highlighted the top project showcases by IIT Madras Bachelor of Science (BS) students, showcasing innovative projects and talent. The Best Business Data Management (BDM) project award recognized exceptional achievements in business data management, providing students with practical experience and industry relevance.
The summit addressed crucial topics such as diversity in hiring, skill-based hiring, and upskilling strategies, attracting distinguished attendees including Chief Experience Officers (CXOs), Chief Human Resources Officers (CHROs), learning and development leaders, talent acquisition leaders, tech leaders, and programme working professionals.
The event facilitated networking with over 240 HR and talent acquisition leaders, fostering collaboration and ongoing learning opportunities. It also connected participants to the IIT Madras network, strengthening industry-academia ties.
