IIT Roorkee placements 2024 records 607 offers, including four international roles, by day 3

IIT Roorkee Placements: A total of 140 companies presented 180 job profiles across diverse sectors, including technology, finance, energy, and research.
NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee saw 607 offers by the end of day 3 of placements for the academic session 2024-2025. This includes four international offers and 603 domestic placements with 140 companies offering 180 job profiles across sectors such as technology, finance, energy, and research.
As per the institute, a key highlight of this placement season is the emphasis on diversification, providing tailored opportunities that align with the unique interests of students and ensuring a wider range of job roles.

The companies which participated in the placements were Adobe, Amazon, American Express, Cohesity, DE Shaw, DevRev, Ebullient Securities, Goldman Sachs, Barclays, Boston Consulting Group, Google, Graviton Research Capital, JP Morgan Chase, Microsoft, Oracle, Quadeye Securities, Qualcomm, Quantbox Research, Sprinklr, ThoughtSpot, Wells Fargo, SquarePoint Capital, Dream11, iRage Capital, Plutus Research, Cars24, VMock, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, NVIDIA, Tata Steel, Cairn Oil & Gas, Texas Instruments, HPCL, GAIL, Schlumberger (SLB), Bajaj Auto, Intel, OLA Electric, IBM, Micron Technologies, and others.

IIT Roorkee Placements: Focus on emerging sectors
“The institute has established partnerships with emerging sectors such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, semiconductor technology, and sustainability, aligning its efforts with the increasing demand for expertise in these transformative fields,” the official press release read.
The institute has not disclosed the Cost to the Company (CTC), as per the restrictions set by the All India Placement Committee (AIPC). Other IITs including IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, and IIT Kharagpur have also started the placement drives.
