IIT Roorkee Placement 2025-26: Day 1 slot 1 offers reflect a significant rise compared to last year’s figures. Top recruiters include Amazon, American Express, Arcana, Bajaj Auto, BEL, BPCL.
Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT-Roorkee) has begun its 2025-26 placement season and has already secured eight international and 428 domestic job offers on day 1 – a significant increase in the number of recruitments compared to last year’s early placement figures.
IIT Roorkee has collaborated with leading companies across diverse sectors, such as engineering and technology, with an emphasis on artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, semiconductor technology, sustainability, and traditional engineering domains.
By curating opportunities that cater to varied interests and competencies, the institute has focused on diversifying job profiles, it said.
“As the 1.1 slot of Day 1 concluded at 01:00 PM, IIT Roorkee has already secured 8 International offers and 428 Domestic offers, with many more expected as the Day 1 process continues. The number of offers recorded so far reflects a significant rise compared to last year’s figures,” the official statement said. Last year, IIT Roorkee recorded four international offers and 603 domestic placements only by day 3.
Top recruiters include Amazon, American Express, Arcana, Bajaj Auto, BEL, BPCL, Centre for Development of Telematics, D. E. Shaw, Databricks, Eternal (Zomato), Flipkart, Google, Harness, and HPCL.
IIT Roorkee will not disclose the salary packages offered by recruiters as restricted by the All IITs Placement Committee (AIPC). The AIPC last year in November decided not to disclose the highest package to reduce stress and high expectations among students.
