IOCL Recruitment 2025: Graduate Engineer registration begins; salary up to Rs 17.7 lakh

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has started the registration process for Graduate Engineer recruitment in chemical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines. IOCL application form for graduate engineer posts will remain open till September 21.

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the computer-based test (CBT), group discussion (GD), and group task (GT), and personal interview (PI). As per the schedule, the IOCL engineer recruitment exam will be held on October 31 in 44 cities across the country.

The IOCL admit card for all registered candidates will be issued by October 17.

The IOCL application fee for all candidates, except for SC, ST, and PwD is Rs 500. Candidates will be allowed to edit the details entered in their application form before the September 21 deadline.

IOCL Recruitment 2025: Eligibility criteria

General, EWS, OBC-NCL category candidates who have completed BTech, BE or equivalent degree with not less than 65% marks and SC, ST, and PwBD candidates with at least 55% marks from a recognised institute will be eligible for the posts.

Candidates will have to produce their final degree or marksheet by October 31 and obtain a minimum percentage of marks to be selected.

‘Those having their graduation (BE/BTech) in combined, integrated disciplines, or inter-disciplinary subjects like Mechatronics or Robotics etc. will not be eligible,’ it said.

Candidates applying from General and EWS category should not be more than 26 years as on July 1, 2025.

IOCL Graduate Engineer salary 2025

Candidates selected as engineers will be placed in the pay scale of Rs 50,000 to Rs 1,60,000, with an initial basic pay of fifty thousand rupees per month. In addition to the basic pay, selected candidates will also receive Dearness Allowance (DA) and other allowances such as HRA, subsidized Housing Accommodation (depending upon place of posting), medical facilities, gratuity, contributory provident fund, group personal accident insurance scheme.

“The gross valuation of remuneration to the company will be approximately Rs17.7 lakh per annum inclusive of Performance Related Pay (PRP). The actual remuneration may vary depending on place of posting, financial performance of the Corporation and annual performance appraisal of the individual,” it said.

IOCL Engineer Recruitment: Bond policy

It is mandatory for candidates selected as engineers and officers to execute a bond to serve the corporation for a minimum period of three years from the date of joining.

General category candidates should sign a bond of Rs 3 lakh and other category candidates should pay Rs 50,000.
