ITM Institute of Design and Media launches four-week pre-foundation bootcamp from June 6

For students who are passionate about pursuing a design career, ITM Institute has introduced a four-week long pre-foundation course, which will involve design industry exposure.
ITM Institute of Design and Media has come up with a four-week pre-foundation bootcamp for aspiring designers, which aims to expose students to the real design industry in order to develop core skills and help them to be better equipped for their future design careers.
The intensive four-week programme, running from June 6-27 at the institute’s campus, aims to offer participants far more than traditional orientation sessions.
Through the pre-foundation bootcamp in design, students will get to interact with the faculty and staff at ITM Institute of Design and Media , and get to expand their academic knowledge on the subject. They will also get a chance to meet students who are enrolled at the institute, gaining real-life perspectives about the design education at ITM and the industry practices.
“Participating students will have the opportunity to get inspired by and learn from design projects created by current ITM students,” an official press release said.

“This bootcamp is more than an orientation — it’s a creative ignition point,” remarked Nisha Chanda, director of ITM Institute of Design and Media. “It’s a chance for students to experience the depth of our programs, the vibrancy of our campus, and the possibilities that await them,” she added.

All students who are passionate about design and want to pursue skills that will help them in their design journey are eligible for the pre-foundation programme by ITM, the release said.
The pre-foundation design bootcamp will allow students to get to experience the campus through tours. Every facility at ITM Institute of Design and Media will be accessible to these students so that the hands-on learning experience gives them a better understanding of the foundational technical skills that are essential in the design industry.
ITM Institute of Design and Media is in Mumbai and is a part of the ITM Group of Institutions . It offers a BDes programme in fashion design which combines practical industry experience along with classroom study.
