Jamia Millia Islamia begins admissions for distance learning, online programmes

Jamia Millia Islamia’s Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) has released its prospectus for the 2025-26 academic year and has started accepting registrations for distance and online programmes. Eligible candidates can apply on the JMI’s official website, jmicoe.in, by August 31.

For admissions to MBA and BEd programmes, JMI will close the registration on August 21. An entrance test for MBA and BEd programmes will be conducted on August 24, and results will be announced on August 29.

As per the JMI’s schedule, the declaration verification and fee submission for all programmes will begin on September 2, and the closing date for fee submission is September 12.

JMI’s vice chancellor, Mazhar Asif and the registrar, Md. Mahtab Alam Rizvi released the Prospectus 2025-26 in the presence of M Moshahid Alam Rizvi, the dean of CDOE and three members of the prospectus committee.

JMI’s distance, online courses offered

CDOE JMI has initiated admission for various programmes, including Master's in Hindi, Urdu, English, Education, Geography, History, Islamic Studies, Political Science, MBA, MA (HRM), and undergraduate programmes including BEd, BA, BCIBF, BCom, BBA, etc. Additionally, CDOE also offers various diploma programmes in employability, known as PG Diplomas, available in fields of guidance and counselling, and in geoinformatics.

Also, seven advanced diplomas are being offered, including Logistics and Supply Chain Management , Public Policy and Governance, International Relations and Global Governance, Educational Media Production, Mass Media (Hindi), Mass Media (Urdu), and Taxation.

Furthermore, CDOE has introduced two new certificate programmes in Information Technology and Computer Hardware and Network Technology.
