JEE Advanced 2024: IIT cut-offs for Electrical and Communication Engineering

NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Madras) has started the registration process for JEE Advanced on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. Students who have got a position in top 2.5 lakh rank in JEE Main 2024 can apply for JEE Advanced till May 7. The exam is scheduled to be held on May 26.

Indian Institutes of Technology will use the JEE Advanced 2024 score for admission into undergraduate (UG) courses such as bachelor’s, integrated master’s, bachelor-master dual degree programmes in engineering, sciences and architecture. In some of the IITs, students enrolled into the four-year bachelor’s degree will have the option to pursue BTech (Hon) and/or B Tech with minors.
Dual Degree students will also have the option to pursue a minor subject. Further, in some IITs, BTech. students also have the option to pursue interdisciplinary dual degrees with Bachelors in the parent department and masters in some other department. All the above options require fulfilment of certain academic performance related criteria as prescribed by the concerned institute.
The counselling process for IIT admission 2024 will be held through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The JoSAA will conduct six rounds of counselling.

IIT Patna is the only institute offering five-year dual degree in electrical and communication engineering. The closing rank for the course last year was 6,695 at IIT Patna. The BTech in Civil Engineering cut-off is following:
