The JEE Advanced 2025 date is May 18. As per the JEE Advanced 2025 schedule, paper 1 will be held from 9 am to 12 noon and paper 2 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

IIT Kanpur has launched the JEE Advanced 2025 official website at jeeadv.ac.in. The JEE Advanced 2025 registration will begin on April 23. The JEE Advanced 2025 registration deadline is May 2, 2025. The JEE Advanced 2025 admit card will be issued from May 11 to May 18. The number of attempts for JEE Advanced 2025 have been reduced from 3 in three consecutive years to twice in 2 years .
JEE Advanced 2025: Civil engineering cut-off trends
The last years' cut-off trend shows that for most IITs, the closing rank for civil engineering relaxed slightly in 2024 compared to 2023. Relaxation in closing rank indicates a decrease in cut-off and therefore less competition. However, for a few top IITs like IIT Madras , IIT Bombay, and IIT Roorkee, the civil engineering cut-off has increased.

Based on past trends, the expected closing ranks 2025 for civil engineering in IITs could range from 3500 to 15000. Top IITs like Bombay, Delhi, and Madras may have closing ranks around 3500 to 6000, while newer IITs like Jammu and Palakkad may see civil engineering closing ranks 2025 exceeding 13,000.
Civil Engineering Cut-Off 2025: Rising competition in IITs
The civil engineering cut-off has increased in the following IITs:
- IIT Bombay: From a closing rank of 4134 in 2023 to 3986 in 2024.
- IIT Madras: From 5880 in 2023 to 5516 in 2024.
- IIT Roorkee: From 6777 in 2023 to 6134 in 2024.
- IIT Guwahati: From 7399 in 2023 to 7112 in 2024.
