JEE Advanced 2025: IIT Delhi cut-off rises; BTech course-wise closing ranks of 3 years

This year, IIT Delhi JEE Advanced cut-offs had gone up for almost all BTech courses, except for 5-year computer science and engineering (CSE) and electrical engineering (EE).

Try NowNEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) will conduct the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced 2025) on May 18 for admission to BTech courses at IITs. The JEE Advanced cut-offs were increased for all categories this year, resulting in high competition to get in top IITs.

IIT Delhi, the second best engineering college in India, according to the NIRF rankings 2024, also offers admission to its BTech programmes using JEE Advanced 2025 rank. To appear in JEE Advanced, one should qualify the JEE Main exam conducted by the NTA and obtain a rank among top 2.5 lakh candidates.
This year, IIT Delhi JEE Advanced cut-offs had gone up for almost all BTech courses, except for 5-year BTech Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and 4-year BTech Electrical Engineering (EE).
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct the JEE Advanced counselling for offering admission to qualified candidates based on their JEE Adv rank. There will be a total of 6 rounds of counselling.

For better understanding, here’s the last three years BTech course-wise IIT Delhi JEE Advanced cut-offs and closing ranks for gender-neutral open category. Aspirants desirous of taking admission in IIT Delhi in the upcoming academic year 2025-26 will have to obtain the minimum cut-off rank to increase their chances of studying at the top engineering college.
