As per past trends, the IIT Kharagpur JEE advanced cut-off has increased in the last two years for popular branches like computer science engineering (CSE) and civil engineering (open category). However, branches like biochemical engineering, mining engineering saw reduction in JEE advanced cut-offs.

The JEE Advanced 2025 date is May 18. As per the JEE Advanced 2025 schedule, paper 1 will be held from 9 am to 12 noon and paper 2 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
IIT Kanpur has launched the JEE Advanced 2025 official website at jeeadv.ac.in. The JEE Advanced 2025 registration will begin on April 23. The JEE Advanced 2025 registration deadline is May 2, 2025. The JEE Advanced 2025 admit card will be issued from May 11 to May 18. The number of attempts for JEE Advanced 2025 have been reduced from 3 in three consecutive years to twice in 2 years.

JEE Advanced 2025: IIT Kharagpur cut-offs increase for CSE and popular branches
The IIT Kharagpur JEE advanced cut-off for certain branches has increased in past years. For example, the closing rank for Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) open category moved from 303 in 2022 to 702 in 2023, and stood at 414 in 2024 (round 1). Similarly, IIT Kharagpur electrical engineering's open category closing rank shifted from 1805 in 2022 to 3949 in 2023, and stood at 1880 in 2024 (round 1).
JEE Advanced IIT Kharagpur Cut-off 2025: Trend analysis
Based on previous year's data, the JEE Advanced IIT Kharagpur cut-off 2025 is likely to increase for popular branches such as CSE, civil engineering due to increasing competition and demand among candidates.
