JEE Main 2024 expected registration date; official website, top non-IIT engineering colleges

Download EBookNEW DELHI: The Joint Entrance Examination- Main 2024 (JEE Main 2024), the third largest entrance exam in India, is conducted for admission to engineering courses such as BTech, BArch, BPlanning. The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced that it will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions - January and April.

As per the NTA exam calendar 2024 , the JEE Main January 2024 session will be held between January 24 to February 1 and the April session from April 1 to 15.
The NTA started the registration process for IIT JEE Main on December 15 last year and allowed candidates till January 12. However, the NTA exam calendar 2024, which was uploaded much earlier for the upcoming academic session, did not have the JEE Main registration date.
The NTA will host the JEE Main application form, information bulletin soon on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The eligibility criteria, application fee, exam centre details will also be uploaded along with the JEE Main registration date 2024.
The application process for the January session will commence first and subsequently the registration process for April session will begin.
Male candidates belonging to general, EWS, OBC categories will have to pay Rs 1,000 as application fee and female candidates will have to pay Rs 800. SC, ST, PwD, and transgender category candidates, on the other hand, will have to deposit Rs 500 as registration fee.
Those engineering aspirants who wish to study BTech in Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) will have to clear JEE Advanced 2024 exam after qualifying JEE Main 2024. Only the top 2.5 lakh rank will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced exam 2024.
