Try NowNEW DELHI: The competition seems to remain high for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates aspiring to study computer science engineering in the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) as the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main cut-offs went up for such students at the top institutes including NIT Tiruchirappalli and NIT Warangal last year.

Now that the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main results 2025 are out, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority will start the JoSAA 2025 counselling for BTech admissions at NITs.
The NITs will be offering a total of 68 PwD seats in the general category in BTech CSE programme. Once JoSAA counselling 2025 dates are out, the institutes will share their JoSAA opening and closing rank for BTech programmes.
Notably, JEE Main cut-off 2025 witnessed an increase for the reserved categories with JEE Main percentile 2025 for PwD applicants in the range of 93.0950208 - 0.0079349.
