The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the JEE Main exam date 2025 soon on the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in, and start the registration process in November, as per past trends.

The JEE Main exam was held in two sessions - January and April - last year. Over 12 lakh candidates registered for the JEE Main January exam in the previous year. The JEE Main registration 2025 window for the first session is likely to be made available in November.
Students who are going to appear in the upcoming Class 12 board exam and those who have passed the higher secondary board exam will be eligible to apply for the national-level engineering entrance exam.
The JEE Main registration 2025 link is likely to be hosted on the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in, on November 1, as per past trends. Students will be allowed to attempt the JEE Main exam twice in a year. Those interested to apply for both the sessions will have to pay an additional fee along with the registration fee ranging from Rs 500 to Rs 1,000 depending on the category they belong to.

JEE Main 2025 registration details
As per the JEE Main registration details, students will be allowed to create a profile on NTA JEE Main official website using Digi locker account through the NAD portal, Academic Bank of Credits ID (ABC ID) through the ABC ID, Indian passport number, non-Indian passport number, PAN card number, or Aadhaar enrollment number.
JEE Main question paper 2025 will comprise two papers. paper 1 for admission into BE, BTech at National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), other centrally-funded technical institutions (CFTIs) and universities funded by participating state universities.
JEE Mains exam is also an eligibility test for JEE Advanced 2025, which is administered for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). JEE Main paper 2 is held for admission to BArch and BPlanning courses.
