“Such claims are fraudulent and intended to scam students; they often request money or personal information. Engaging in these scams can lead to financial loss and misinformation,” the NTA added.
“To avoid falling victim to such fraudulent schemes, the NTA has advised students to rely only on the NTA's official websites and announcements for reliable information,” the notice stated.
NTA warns about fake JEE Main paper leaks
NTA JEE Mains 2026 session 1 exams will be held from January 21 to 29 in two shifts. The NTA conducted the first shift of the JEE Main 2026 day 1 exam from 9 am to 12 pm on January 21, and is conducting the second shift exam from 3 pm to 6 pm.
According to the students, in the JEE Main 2026 January 21 shift 1 exam , the Chemistry section was the most difficult, followed by Mathematics, while the Physics section was easy. Overall, the exam was of moderate difficulty.
To prevent cheating and malpractice, the NTA has introduced strict rules for the exam day , such as verifying fingerprints and photo identity cards.
The JEE Main 2026 session 1 day 2 exams will be held tomorrow, January 22, in two shifts: 9 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 6 pm.
