Jharkhand Board Exams 2025: JAC cancels Class 10 science, Hindi papers amid paper leak reports

Download NowNEW DELHI: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has cancelled Jharkhand board Class 10 Hindi, Science exams 2025 due to paper leak claims. The Jharkhand Class 10th Hindi exam was held on February 18, and science paper was conducted on February 20. As per JAC, the new dates for Jharkhand board cancelled papers will be announced soon. The Jharkhand board Class 10 re-exam 2025 is expected to be scheduled after March 4.
The Jharkhand board's official notice read, "All students, their parents, principals concerned, centre superintendents and officials concerned are informed that in the light of information received through social media and newspapers, the examinations of Hindi (Course A & Course B) subject held in the first sitting on February 18 and Science subject in the first sitting on February 20 are cancelled."
As per IANS news report , JAC chairman, Dr Natwa Hansda, has asked the deputy commissioners of Koderma and Giridh to submit reports regarding the Jharkhand board Class 10 paper leak incident within 24 hours to ensure strict actions against the culprits.
JAC 10th Board Exam 2025: Postponement of February 14 papers
The JAC has re-scheduled February 14 exam due to Shab-e-barat holiday. The JAC Class 12 exams 2025 have been rescheduled for the core language-ISc , ICom Hindi 'A', English 'A', music, - IA. On the other hand, Jharkhand Class 10th exams 2025 have been rescheduled for Kharia, Khortha, Kurmali, Nagpuri, and Panch Pargania papers. The Jharkhand board February 14 exams will now be held on March 4.
The JAC 10th board exams 2025 are being conducted in morning shift from 9:45 am to 1 pm. The Jharkhand board Class 12th exams 2025 are being held in a single shift from 2 pm to 5:20 pm. The JAC Class 10th exams 2025 are being conducted in 1305 examination centres. Whereas, the JAC 12th board exams 2025 are being held in 795 test centres.
Jharkhand Board Exams 2025: Passing marks
According to the JAC passing marks, students are required to score 33% marks in aggregate and each subject to clear the J harkhand Class 10th, 12th board exams 2025 . Additionally, students need to secure the qualifying marks in each theory and practical assessment of each subject to be declared pass the Jharkhand board exams 2025. For JAC Class 12 students are required to secure 26 marks out of 80-mark theory papers, and in 70-mark papers, 23 marks will be required to qualify.
