Jharkhand NMMS 2024 result out at jacresults.com; how to check

NEW DELHI: Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced the National Means Merit Scholarship (NMMS) result 2024 for Class 8 students. Students who appeared for the examination can check their Jharkhand NMMS 2024 results by visiting the official website, jacresults.com.

Students will have to use their login credentials such as roll number and date of birth to download the Jharkhand NMMS 2024 scorecard. The scorecard will carry details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, date of birth, father name, MAT and SAT score, category, gender, district name. The JAC has also issued the merit list along with the result.

Selected students will receive a scholarship of Rs 12,000 per annum throughout their studies in Class 9 to 12. Each month the government grants a Rs 1,000 scholarship to the students for a year.

To qualify for the scholarship, students had to appear for two tests including the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Students should achieve a combined score of at least 40% in the NMMS examination, comprising SAT and MAT. However, for candidates belonging to scheduled caste (SC) and scheduled tribe (ST) categories, the minimum qualifying marks are 32%.

The Jharkhand NMMS 2024 exam was conducted on February 17, 2024. Jharkhand NMMS is conducted for students of Class 8 who are in government, government-aided or local body schools and can apply for this exam under two conditions. To be eligible for the exam, students should get the required marks, which are 50% for the general category and 45% for the SC and ST categories. Additionally, the parental income of the candidates should be equal to or less than Rs 3.5 lakhs.

How to check Jharkhand NMMS 2024 result

Students can follow the steps given below to check the Jharkhand NMMSE results 2024:

• Visit the official website, jacresults.com.

• On the homepage, look for the ‘Result’ tab.

• Now, enter the ‘roll number’ and ‘date of birth’ and submit.

• The result will be displayed on the screen

• Download the scorecard and take printout for future reference.
