NEW DELHI: Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has postponed the National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) exam 2023. Earlier, the Jharkhand NMMS 2023 exam was scheduled to be held on December 17.

The council will announce the Jharkhand NMMS 2023 exam dates will be announced soon. The Jharkhand NMMS 2023 exam dates will be made available on the official website, jac.jharkhand.gov.in .
The council has issued a notification regarding the postponement of exam. "National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) exam 2023 scheduled for December 17 has been postponed. The exam has been postponed due to indispensable reasons. The new exam dates will be announced in due course of time", read the official notification.
The Jharkhand NMMS scholarship scheme aims to provide financial assistance of Rs 12,000 for selected students in Class 9 to 12.
It is to be noted that students pursuing their studies in private schools and students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sainik schools are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.

To apply JAC NMMS scholarship in 2023, interested students must have received at least 55% marks in Class 7 exams. Additionally, the annual parental income of the student should be less than or equal to Rs 3.5 lakh.
