JKSSB JE electrical exam cancelled amid alleged paper leak

Earlier, the JKSSB had scheduled the JE exam for the electrical post on August 24, 2025, across 35 centres in Jammu and Srinagar. The exam, originally set to begin at 11 am, was delayed to 12:00 noon due to weather-related exigencies. While the test was conducted successfully at 34 centres, it could not be held at one venue.

Following reports and social media posts claiming the question paper had leaked online before the exam, the JKSSB announced the cancellation of the exam. Videos circulated on social media purportedly showed candidates outside the Kothi Bagh Higher Secondary School examination hall attempting to answer questions, further raising concerns about the integrity of the test.
