Karnataka: The new initiative will benefit students from economically backward backgrounds and also improve attendance in government schools.

Karnataka has decided to offer free transportation services for children studying in KPS schools. Students studying in government schools from LKG to PUC will benefit from this initiative.
The step is taken by the state government to increase the attendance and quality of children studying in government schools. The initiative at large will benefit children from economically weaker sections, offering them economic strength.
The deputy chief minister of Karnataka DK Shivkumar posted on his official X account: “To strengthen government schools, the state government has decided to start a free bus service for students studying from LKG to PUC in Karnataka Public Schools across the state.”
