KEA has also started the third round of KCET 2025 seat allotment for engineering, architecture and allied health science courses. As per the official notice, candidates who want to participate in the KCET 2025 round 3 will have to pay a cash deposit of Rs 10,000.
The KEA states that this payment is a prerequisite to submitting new course options or modifying existing ones. “Due to time constraints, all parents and students must complete the payment of the advance fee and submit, modify, or add their preferences within the prescribed time limit,” it said.
KEA has asked candidates to enter all possible choices in KCET 2025 round 3, even if seats are not currently shown in the seat matrix, as vacancies may arise during the allotment process and allow a chance to secure a better seat.
Candidates allotted seats in the first or second rounds of KCET 2025 counselling and want to surrender them can do so by 1 pm on September 8, 2025. Such candidates will be eligible for a refund of the fee after deducting Rs 5,000. Candidates who have been allotted a seat in previous rounds are required to join their colleges after the third round.
