The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) will conduct the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) mid-term exam will be conducted from tomorrow, September 12. The exams will be held at respective school centres, and question papers for all subjects will be prepared centrally and distributed securely to districts and schools.

The Karnataka SSLC mid-term exam will be conducted till September 19 in multiple shifts, depending on the subjects. The exam for some subjects will be held in the forenoon session from 10:30 am to 1:45 pm, with an additional 15 minutes provided for reading the Karnataka SSLC mid-term exam question paper.

The Karnataka Class 10 mid-term theory exams for Hindustani music and Carnatic music will be conducted from 2 pm to 3:45 pm, followed by practical exams from 3:45 pm to 5:15 pm at the respective schools. The practical and oral exams for JTS students will be conducted on September 19, 2025, from 2:30 pm onwards at their school centres.

Students will be required to carry their admit cards along with a photo identity card in order to enter the examination hall. Students should reach the exam centres at least one hour before the commencement of the board exams.

The Karnataka SSLC mid-term exams will have different maximum marks depending on the subject. First Language papers will carry 100 marks each. Core subjects such as Science, Political Science, Mathematics, Sociology, and Social Science will be evaluated for 80 marks each.

The Karnataka SSLC second and third language papers are also set for 80 marks each. NSOF vocational subjects, including Information Technology, Retail, Automobile, Beauty and Wellness, Apparel Made-Ups and Home Furnishing, and Electronics & Hardware, will have 60 marks each. JTS subjects will be assessed for 80 marks each.
