CEE informed that the trial seat allotment has been prepared on the basis of the online options submitted by the applicants up to 4:30 pm on July 16 and serves to give an idea to the candidates about the chances of admissions to a college and course based on their preferences and KEAM rank 2025.
Clarifying that the trial allotment does not guarantee admission to any course or college, the authorities advised students not to re-arrange or delete the submitted options based on the seat allotment results.
The last date for submission and re-arrangement of options is July 18, 2025 till 4 pm. As per KEAM 2025 counselling dates, the KEAM first phase allotment 2025 was scheduled for July 18 only, which now stands postponed.
KEAM 2025 rank list: Supreme Court refuses to stay HC order
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court refused to stay the Kerala High Court order which cancelled the KEAM 2025 result and ordered CEE to prepare the revised KEAM rank list 2025 based on the old marks standardisation formula, as per a Live Law report. The top court was hearing a petition filed by the state board students aggrieved by the changes in the rank list following the HC order.
A bench comprising Justices PS Narasimha and AS Chandurkar posted the hearing after four weeks and asked the state to file its appeal.
A division bench of the HC upheld the single-judge order cancelling the last-minute changes in the KEAM 2025 prospectus wherein the formula for calculating the physics, chemistry, and mathematics (PCM) was changed from 1:1:1 to 5:3:2.
