All seats for 3-year LLB courses in Maharashtra law colleges have been filled through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP), the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell announced.

According to the data shared by the CET Cell, all 19,895 seats in 218 law colleges in Maharashtra have been filled through MH 3-year LLB CAP counselling process.
The admission process for 3-year LLB began on June 30 and concluded on October 11, spanning three months. There were four rounds of counselling, including an institutional round.
In the last three years, this is the first time 100% seats have been filled under the CAP admission process. While the combined percentage of three categories — CAP, EWS, and institutional round – is 96%.
According to the seat matrix 2025, 23,859 seats are available in Maharashtra for 3-year LLB courses. Out of which, 22,917 seats have been filled. Overall, 14,846 boys and 8,071 girls took admission to the undergraduate law course.

Although all seats have been filled under CAP, more than half of the seats – 51.25% – under EWS category remain unfilled. Of the total 1,678 seats, only 818 seats have been filled and 860 remain vacant.
On the other hand, 99.95% management seats have been filled, with just one seat lying vacant.

“The number of students pursuing law education has been increasing significantly since the last few years. 96% of the students who wanted to take admission have been admitted. This year, four rounds of admission were held and this admission process was carried out smoothly,” Dilip Sardesai, official at Maharashtra State CET Cell said.
