The board will now not allot 10 extra minutes to students for reading the Maharashtra Higher Secondary Certiifcate (HSC) and Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC) board exam 2024 for questions papers.
The students will not get be given question papers 10 minutes prior the starting time of the examination. It said the decision has been taken as cases where the questions paper was allegedly leaked during the time provided for reading the questions paper had surfaced during previous years’ examination. To check this, the extra reading time has been removed and 10 minutes have now been added in the time given to attempt the question paper i.e. instead of 180 minutes students will get 190 minutes, the board added.
